One Port St is designed to bring luxury living to Manchester’s iconic Northern Quarter and offer our residents an exceptional renting experience. Created in partnership with prestigious architect’s SimpsonHaugh, every detail has been carefully considered and designed to complement the industrial aesthetic the Northern Quarter is famous for. With a conscious effort to respect the heritage of the Northern Quarter, the scheme is full of creative links to the history of the site. Some examples include design features inspired by textile patterns from Whitworth Art Gallery and the naming of our 7th floor club lounge and terrace Paganini’s, in honour of a tavern which stood on Port Street 200 years ago.
One Port St strives to become part of the community in the Northern Quarter and we are passionate about bringing a positive impact to the local area. As part of this, the development will deliver 22,000 sq ft of public green space, including a children’s play area and urban garden.
We’ll also be partnering with local businesses for our One Port St collective initiative which connects our residents with local NQ hotspots, services and more. We look forward to our exciting calendar of resident events, welcoming local businesses into the development and introducing our residents to our collective of incredible partners.
